Don your best Derby hat and/or Derby duds, purchase 1 of 4 Lexington Brewing beers, place your bet (entry) on the thoroughbred of your choice and cheer on your horse while listening to a radio broadcast of the race. Two bets (entries) will be hand drawn for Lexington Brewing gift baskets. A $20 C&C gift card will be awarded to the best derby attire and announced at 7pm.

Aged for up to six weeks in freshly decanted bourbon barrels from some of Kentucky’s finest distilleries. Subtle yet familiar flavors of vanilla and oak are imparted to this special ale as it rests in the charred barrels.

Kentucky Rickhouse Series No. 3 Rye Barrel Ale
Designed to show the depth of flavor imparted on the beer from the barrel, Kentucky Rye Barrel Ale takes on the unique, spicy flavors of Town Branch Rye. The beer base, our Kentucky Ale, is aged in oak rye whiskey barrels to develop complex notes of black pepper complemented by the hints of vanilla sweetness from the oak.
